We are seeking a part-time Community Development Officer to lead on our regular programme of social and leisure opportunities for Headway Tyneside members. As the first point of contact for our charity, you will offer support, advice and encouragement to our members to ensure they feel welcome and included in our activities.

Key Duties
- Arranging regular social and leisure opportunities for members of Headway Tyneside
- Ensuring effective communication with members of Headway Tyneside and other stakeholders to keep them up to date with our events and services
- Inbox management for email enquiries sent to Headway Tyneside
- Regularly updating Headway Tyneside’s website and maintaining our social media presence (e.g. Facebook and Instagram)
- Providing advice and signposting to service users in relation to brain injury via telephone, email and face to face contact with members
