DESCRIPTION:Join us for a walk around part of the picturesque Rising Sun Country Park\, followed by a cuppa at the Countryside Centre café. \nMeeting point: The Rising Sun Country Park Car Park\nWalk distance: 1 mile. \nTerrain: Gravel footpath throughout; wheelchair accessible. Please note there are some short sections of the route which have a moderate incline. \nTravel:  \nThere is a car park onsite for those planning to drive. \nPublic Transport: \nPalmersville Metro is a 16 min walk to the park. \nThe 350 and 351 busses stop at Whitey Road Asda\, which is a short walk to the park. You can get these busses from St Mary’s Pace – Haymarket bus stop \n  \n

SUMMARY:Tuesday Night Social Group - Walkergate Park
DESCRIPTION:We run a monthly social group on the first Tuesday of every month at Walkergate Park from 6-8pm. Tea\, coffee and biscuits are on offer\, and we promise you a warm welcome! \nUsually about 30 people attend this group each week – this includes Headway Tyneside members living with brain injury in the community\, inpatients receiving rehabilitation\, and families and carers.\nAs well as plenty of opportunity for friendly conversation\, we also run a different activity each week. Keep your eyes on our event page to see what is coming up! Our regular activities include table top games\, quizzes\, boccia\, family support sessions\, guest talks and much more \nThe remainder of our Tuesday Evening Social Group sessions run at Bensham Grove Community Centre from 4-6pm – check out our What’s On page and social media platforms for locations.
