SUMMARY:Monthly Outing: Walk around Royal Quays Marina
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a stroll around the beautiful ‘hidden gem’ of the Royal Quays Marina\, followed by a soft drink at The Lock. \nMeeting point: 1:30pm on the path behind Royal Quays Marina Standard/Long Stay Car Park\, Coble Dene Road. \nRoute: 1.8km circular route\, walking clockwise around the marina\, starting from the car park and ending with a drink at The Lock Cafe. The route is wheelchair accessible throughout. Midway through the walk\, there is a moderate incline up to Chirton Dene Park\, passing a water mural. We will stop at the bandstand at the top of this path for a short break before continuing on to The Lock\, where the walk ends. \nParking: There are two car parks at the Marina. Both have free blue badge parking (scan your blue badge barcode at the machine before leaving). If you do not have a blue badge\, use the standard/Long Stay Cark Park – this is free for customers of The Lock when you enter your registration number at the entrance to the café.
