We will have a look around and then head for a drink in the café. \nTravel \nPublic transport \nClosest metro: Manors – 13 min walk away \nBusses: Services 1\, 12\, 22\, 39\, 40\, 62 and 63 will take you to the Bus Stop outside or opposite St. Dominic’s Priory on New Bridge Street – look for The Tanners Arms pub and turn down Stepney Bank on the right of the pub\, follow the road downhill to the heart of Ouseburn. \nParking \nStreet parking on Lime Street\, the Ouseburn Central Car Park on Foundry Lane\, and the Ouseburn South Car Park next to The Cycle Hub on the Quayside is 40p per hour up to a maximum stay of four hours. \nThe Ouseburn Arches car park under the Byker Bridge arches\, on the corner of Lime Street and Stepney Bank is £1 for the first hour then 80p an hour up to a maximum stay of four hours. The meter accepts payment by debit or credit card only. \nThere are disabled parking spaces in the Arches car park\, outside Ouseburn Farm and on Foundry Lane. \n

There is lots to see and explore!  The museum visit will be followed by a soft drink in the café. \nDate: Tuesday 20th January \nTime: 1.30pm \nVenue: Great North Museum\, NE2 4PT \nCost: Entry to the museum is free.  If you wish to purchase food in the café\, this must be self-funded. \nParking: If you have a Blue Badge\, there are four accessible parking bays at the front right corner of the museum you can use. If these are occupied please ask at the Reception Desk or call (0191) 208 6765 and they will try to find you a space in the private staff car park. \nThere is no other public parking at the museum.  \nThe nearest public car parking is approximately 300m away on Claremont Road. Go past the museum towards Exhibition Park (north)\, over the roundabout and you’ll find parking on the right. There are also numerous parking spaces in the city centre car parks. \nIf you would like to attend\, please let Hannah know by Wednesday 14th January. \n
