DESCRIPTION:We have a special social evening with the Rock Choir coming to join us for an evening of songs! \nOur group is on Wednesday this week\, at Walkergate Park from 6-8pm! \nTea\, coffee and biscuits are on offer\, and we promise you a warm welcome! \nUsually about 30 people attend this group each week – this includes Headway Tyneside members living with brain injury in the community\, inpatients receiving rehabilitation\, and families and carers.\nAs well as plenty of opportunity for friendly conversation\, we also run a different activity each week. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a trip to the Great North Museum. There is lots to see and explore!  The museum visit will be followed by a soft drink in the café. \nDate: Tuesday 20th January \nTime: 1.30pm \nVenue: Great North Museum\, NE2 4PT \nCost: Entry to the museum is free.  If you wish to purchase food in the café\, this must be self-funded. \nParking: If you have a Blue Badge\, there are four accessible parking bays at the front right corner of the museum you can use. If these are occupied please ask at the Reception Desk or call (0191) 208 6765 and they will try to find you a space in the private staff car park. \nThere is no other public parking at the museum.  \nThe nearest public car parking is approximately 300m away on Claremont Road. Go past the museum towards Exhibition Park (north)\, over the roundabout and you’ll find parking on the right. There are also numerous parking spaces in the city centre car parks. \nIf you would like to attend\, please let Hannah know by Wednesday 14th January. \n

Spaces are pay on exit and you can pay by card or cash. \nBlue badge holders park free. There are 4 additional Blue Badge parking spaces directly adjacent to Baltic on South Shore Road. \nTravel by public transport: \nGateshead Bus Interchange or Newcastle Central Station are the closest bus stations. \nThe closest metro stops are Central and Gateshead\, both an 18 minute walk from the Baltic. \nWhat’s On: \nFor All at Last Return – This major group exhibition explores different marine ecosystems\, from near-shore and intertidal zones to coral reefs\, the open ocean and the deep sea\, considering our relationships with these fragile environments and their dependent communities.
