DESCRIPTION:Join us for a stroll around Saltwell Park\, previously voted ‘Britain’s Best Park’\, followed by a soft drink at Saltwell Towers. \nMeeting point: Saltwell Park car park\, off East Park Road. \nRoute: There will be two route options on the day: \n 1. 0.8km circular route around the peaceful and beautifully fragrant Rose Garden. \n2. 2.4km circular route around the lake\, inhabited by several different species of water fowl. \nBoth routes have inclines which are occasionally steep.  There are a number of benches on both routes for rest periods as needed\, and both routes are wheelchair accessible. \nParking: There is a free car park just off East Park Road\, with several Blue Badge spaces.
