DESCRIPTION:We run a social group every Tuesday evening at Walkergate Park from 6-8pm. Tea\, coffee and biscuits are on offer\, and we promise you a warm welcome! \nUsually about 30 people attend this group each week – this includes Headway Tyneside members living with brain injury in the community\, inpatients receiving rehabilitation\, and families and carers.\nAs well as plenty of opportunity for friendly conversation\, we also run a different activity each week. Keep your eyes on our event page to see what is coming up! Our regular activities include table top games\, quizzes\, boccia\, family support sessions\, guest talks and much more

This informal\, supportive space will be facilitated by Julie King\, Family Support Officer. \nJoin us for peer support and the chance to chat to others sharing similar experiences. Each session will be shaped by you and focus on what is important to you. \nThese sessions will run from 6:15-8pm at Walkergate Park in the family lounge on the 3rd Tuesday of each month.
