DESCRIPTION:Walking football is a fun and safe way for players to enjoy football and socialise together\, in teams up to 7-a-side.\nWalking football involves no running\, jogging or heading. Physical contact is kept to a minimum – no slide tackling or tackling from behind. The ball has to stay below chest height. \nWe run a walking football group at NUCastle every Wednesday from 1-2pm. We play 4 quarters of 10 minutes each\, with mixed teams of men and women and a variety of age groups and abilities.
