Physical contact is kept to a minimum – no slide tackling or tackling from behind. The ball has to stay below chest height. \nWe run a walking football group every Wednesday from 1-2pm. We play 4 quarters of 10 minutes each\, with mixed teams of men and women and a variety of age groups and abilities. Tea\, coffee and biscuits are on offer and we promise you a warm welcome!\nAlongside our usual drop-in session\, Melissa Davis\, Senior Welfare Advisor at Irwin Mitchell\, will be running a Benefits Clinic.  If you have any questions regarding what benefits you’re entitled to\, an existing claim or how to fill in forms\, please come along and speak to Melissa. \n  \nThis is a chance to have a cuppa and a catch up with friends old and new. This group is based around friendly conversation – our members’ experiences are invaluable and through building relationships with one another we can develop a strong and supportive community for brain injury survivors and their families.

SUMMARY:September activity - Ouseburn Farm
DESCRIPTION:Sadly\, the organisers of Shaun on the Tyne have decided to take the flock down a few days earlier than originally planned so we’ve changed our September monthly outing plans. \nThe new plan is to meet at Ouseburn Farm Café for a soft drink\, followed by walk around the farm.  We might even spot a real life Shaun in his natural environment 🐑 \n\nDate: Tuesday 26th September\nMeeting time: 1.30pm\nMeeting point: Ouseburn Farm Café\nPlan: We will meet at the café for a soft drink.  We can then make our way round the gardens\, reptile house and farm to take in all the sights of the farm.\n\nOuseburn Farm is fully accessible for wheelchair users.  There are reserved car parking bays close to the farm for blue badge holders. There are adapted toilets within the centre. \nIf you would like to attend\, please let Ellie know by Tuesday 19th September.
