DESCRIPTION:On the second and fourth Wednesday of the month\, we hold an informal drop-in session at Newcastle City Library\, between 2-4pm. Tea\, coffee and biscuits are on offer and we promise you a warm welcome!\nThis is a chance to have a cuppa and a catch up with friends old and new. DESCRIPTION:When: Friday\, 2pm \nLocation: The Dance Studio\, Linskill Centre\, NE30 2AY \nJoin Headway Tyneside’s dance class especially developed for brain injury survivors: an expressive\, energetic movement class for adults of all abilities living with brain injury and their carers. We will use a range of dance techniques\, music styles and themes to guide you through a fun-filled class. Sessions are free of charge but pre-booking is essential.

DESCRIPTION:Join our Tuesday evening social group at Bensham Grove Community Centre from 4-6pm. Tea\, coffee and biscuits are on offer\, and we promise you a warm welcome! \nUsually about 30 people attend this group each week – this includes Headway Tyneside members living with brain injury\, and their families and carers. \nAs well as plenty of opportunity for friendly conversation\, we run a different activity each week. Keep your eyes on our events page to see what is coming up! Our regular activities include table top games\, quizzes\, boccia\, family support sessions\, guest talks and much more.

SUMMARY:Walking Football: SOCCERWORLD
DESCRIPTION:Walking football is a fun and safe way for players to enjoy football and socialise together\, in teams up to 7-a-side. \nWalking football involves no running\, jogging\, or heading. Physical contact is kept to a minimum – no slide tackling or tackling from behind. The ball has to stay below chest height. \nOur walking football group runs every Wednesday from 1-2pm. We take regular drinks breaks\, and have with mixed teams of men and women and a variety of age groups and abilities. The coaches at Newcastle United Foundation are all highly skilled\, and make sure that everyone feels included and goes home with a smile on their face. \nThese sessions are free of charge\, thanks for kind sponsorship from Sintons. \nWe always welcome new players – if you would like to give it a try\, please contact us to find out more.
