Thanks to funding from Morrisons Foundation, Headway Tyneside is delivering a training course for Headway Members. The course runs for five weeks and is designed to increase your knowledge of brain injury and its effects and provide you with strategies to support you in your day-to-day life.
Julie King will be running a drop-in for family members. If you have any questions about benefits, carers rights or local provisions, come along and speak to Julie. As well as the drop-in, we will be playing a variety of games including 'Who Am I?' and Pictionary.
Newcastle United Foundation hosts Northumbria Police for a workshop about hate crime. There will then be a Walking Football Festival, with teams from Newcastle United Foundation. Headway Tyneside has been invited to take part in the event.
